Registered Plans

RRSPs, TFSAs, RRIFs and RESPs are government-registered plans and accounts that provide tax deferral or tax-free options. RRSPs allow you to save faster for retirement, earn valuable tax deductions when you invest, and minimize the tax you pay when you withdraw.

  • Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP): Start an RRSP automatic transfer weekly or monthly. We can also lend funds to help you contribute or top up unused contributions.

  • Tax Free Savings Account (TFSA) is designed to help you save for your short and long-term goals. A TFSA maybe be a good option for you to consider if you have shorter-term goals where you want to access and more easily withdraw funds.

  • Registered Education Savings Plan (RESP) allow you to save for your child’s or grandchildren’s post-secondary education. In an RESP, any interest earned is tax-deferred until the money is used for education.

  • Registered Retirement Investment Fund (RRIF): It's mandatory to convert your RRSP savings to a RRIF at the end of the year in which you turn 71 years of age.
