Sustainability and conservation have always been important to CCEC. For years we have been doing what we can including two-sided printing, recycling scrap paper, using recycled paper, and minimizing our garbage. We have on-line statements for members and encourage members to sign up to receive Common Interest electronically. However, we wanted to know how effective our initiatives have been and to do so, we needed to measure our greenhouse gas emissions. We turned to Climate Smart and their online tools and training. CCEC businesses and organizations are encouraged to learn more about this program, sign up and become part of the solution. |
